		<description>Beth,

Thank you for this excellent review of the Kindle2. I just found your site &amp; blog and am enjoying what I have seen so far. My husband surprised me with a Kindle2 for Christmas - well, I had to wrap it so I know it&#039;s there waiting for me tomorrow! Everything I have heard/read about it convinces me that it will be great, and I am pleased to hear what you had to say as well. I can hardly wait to open it up tomorrow and get started using it. I look forward to reading more on your blog and learning more about Epi Kardia. Thanks and have a very Happy Christmas.

Blessings,

		<description>Jeffrey,
Thanks for the support with this review. It sounds like we&#039;ve had similar Kindle experiences! I appreciate the insight on why there isn&#039;t a back light. Thanks for commenting.

<description>Thanks for the great review! I really enjoyed reading your thoughts and experiences of the Kindle. You may be interested in a free book that Amazon offers, Letters of a Woman Homesteader. It is a memior of a single (then married) woman in Wyoming in the pioneer years. I laughed out loud many times and thoroughly enjoyed the read. Just wanted to pass it along, since it was free for the Kindle.</description>

<description>My Kindle 2 arrived yesterday and I was worried it would not live up to my expectations. I was wrong. It is a magical reading device that I never want to live without.

It came ready to use and easy to understand. The screen is clear and it really is just like reading a book. I made my first purchase which was an amazing rush of instant gratification. The experiemental web browser is really exciting, and I look forward to Amazon developing this further. Right now the browser is limited, but the potential is amazing.

I am not a fan of electronic reading and I find the greatest joy in a real book. But the Kindle 2 makes my favorite past time convenient and exciting. As a book club member it has made finding and getting new book selections a dream.

Initially I was disappointed when I heard the Kindle 2 would not have a back light, but now I recognize the sense behind this. By not having a backlight, my eyes do not tire when reading the Kindle as happens when being on a computer.

Was it worth the 359 bucks? You bet. Do I fear Amazon coming out with a better and improved one in a few months? No way, because I consider myself as having come in on the ground floor of something truly exciting.

You wont regret this!!!
