Hi Bethany! Thanks for your comment and for contributing to the Charlotte Mason blog carnival. If you clicked on our sidebar widget where it says, "Submit an article," you went to the right place. I believe the category is homeschooling, and I will get a copy of the form you fill out. I'll be looking for it and I will tell you when it has arrived. It is an automated process, so it should be no problem. Thanks again for submitting!

Looks like lots of fun activities! My kids will be looking for stuff to do next week when we have off school.

I would like to contribute to your blog carnival on Dec. 1, but when I went to the site, I couldn't figure out what category to submit to or what to do to make sure it would be credited to you. Help?! (I'm from the Christian Self-Publishers Yahoo email loop.) Thanks!

Loni,
What a wonderful activity! Your blog is beautiful. You have obviously put a great deal of work into with all of the graphic design and photos! Thanks for sharing your idea!

How about making a family Thanksgiving Proclamation. You can see ours here: http://hearts-in-training.blogspot.com/2009/11/our-thanksgiving-proclamation-2009.html
Helping your child(ren) write a "Thanksgiving Proclamation" (which is basically a statement saying what the child(ren) is thankful, for the many blessings), can help develop an attitude of gratitude. With a few simple supplies you can even turn this into a fun and creative activity by making a traditional-looking proclamation.
