Math and Science:
Apologia Science - Elizabeth's first choice for Bibical high school science.
Teaching Textbooks - Dana's favorite for high school math. She appreciates its ease of use for
parents and students, as well as the solutions CD that provides the answers for all practice and test
questions.
Math U See - Elizabeth utilized this with her high school daughter. After using more
traditional programs, she found this much more user friendly including a DVD that provides demonstrations of all
problem types. Another advantage is the multiple tests offer daily, unit, quarterly and semester testing
allowing great flexibility for the parent. Allyson, Elizabeth's daughter, claims it as her favorite math
curriculum.
Professor B's - Elizabeth recommends this math curriculum in elementary and middle school
because it answers the question "why?" rather than just "how?". The techniques are considerably different and
require parent involvement, but customer service is excellent. When calling, you often get the Professor
himself.
