Epi Kardia Christian Literature-based Homeschool Curriculum Using Charlotte Mason Methods

Two Methods of Teaching Homeschool High School !

Epi Kardia offers two alternatives for teaching high school:

1.  The first is our Secondary Complete Program for 9th-12th grades that is modeled after our other complete program components.  Although it has many more ideas for assignments as well as a page of research topics per unit, YOU create the lesson plans so you may customize them as needed for your homeschooled high school student.  Click here to see a sample of a unit booklet. In addition to nine unit booklets, you will also receive nine historical overviews - one for each historical period - one 100+ manual and a Tools CD with forms, graphic organizers, high school planning and record form, and more.

2. Secondly, Epi Kardia  also offers high school courses by subject. Keep reading to see the list of courses that are available now and read about a few that are in the development and planning stages!

This course from
Epi Kardia is a welcome addition to the curriculum market....This well-written, affordable
course is definitely worthy of your consideration as you make curriculum
choices for the high school years.

Thank you for a wonderful literature program. We, as a family, were so glad to find a literature program that will take us all the way through high school. We are currently using American Literature. Again, I want to thank you for putting this program together. When we discussed her honors assignment of a Crucible Newspaper her response was "fun". Again, when we discussed the assignments for "To My Husband and Other Poems" her response was "fun". I know that doesn't sound exciting...but she was truly excited about her assignments and eager to get started.

Additional English Elective Courses for your Homeschool High School

  •   Essay Styles for High School  - This is a basic high school composition class we recommend as a prerequisite for our other high school courses, as it will give your new high school student solid writing experience with the five essay formats used in high school writing.

It may be taken by advanced 8th graders, in 9th grade as an elective along with a literature class, or as the basis for 9th grade English, as long as it is accompanied by literature study.

"I'm still using Epi Kardia and LOVING it! I added one more student this year to the mix, A.! She and I do a more traditional Epi Kardia approach, whereas J. and G. know the drill and are on something like auto pilot with the program. Thank you for your dedication to writing such a fine curriculum.  My family have enjoyed it and been blessed by it time after time.  I still share it with everyone who will listen!"

--Jennifer

"E. is in 4th grade right now and C. is in 1st grade.  I love being able to use Epi Kardia with both of them!  (And we'll be adding L. in kindergarten next year.)  What a blessing this curriculum has been and continues to be for us!  Thanks Dana and Beth!"

--Julie

"I have 4 children and we are using all 4 levels of the program. Just another reason why I love this program! It is flexible enought for me to do just what want with it! :-) "

 --Pam

"The kids and I just finished playing a '20th Century Trivia' board game that A. made after I saw it in the [Preparatory Complete Program] Epi Kardia curriculum. What a great idea! He had to come up with the idea, use history & geography to come up with the categories and then the questions, make the board, paint the board and then make up the rules. It was a great 2-week project!"

I am very excited about where the Lord will take us this year in our homeschooling! I am telling everyone I know about your amazing customer service.
May God Truly Bless you in all you do!
Thanks,

"I am using the American Literature [high school] curriculum for a co-op starting in August and am very pleased with it so far.  I have laid out weekly lesson plans for the group so that they are reading along at the same pace and know which assignments will be due when.  It is so clearly laid out and easy to use.  I love the notes on grading/assessing the assignments and the rubrics you have provided.  I want to order a few more things real soon, so really appreciate the coupon!!
Thanks!"

"I am grateful and appreciative. [You have provided] customer service of the highest degree - thanks so much, and thanks for the updates on future products. You are most kind."
