Middle School Daily Lesson Plans

Prepare your student for high school using a Middle School Curriculum You Can Trust!

Like the rest of our daily lesson plans, our  literature-based daily lesson plans for middle school students offer you an easy to follow, clear and organized plan for studying history, science, language arts and fine arts using real, living books readily available from your public or church library or online at Amazon.com.

See the books we recommend in our middle school daily lesson plans here. Just like our other book recommendations, the books we suggest in our Middle School Plans support our Christian values.

With our middle school curriculum you do not have to worry about your child being exposed to anti-Christian bias or non-wholesome themes. We have read every book we recommend in the program and have chosen not only top-quality literature, but books that support our Christian values.

Our middle school daily lesson plans include weekly themes and objectives, book and supply lists, discussion questions, activities, projects, picture study and poetry - all mapped out for you in a clear, organized way.

Written particularly to prepare your middle school student for high school level work, our middle school plans focus on reviewing much of what was learned in prior years as well as encouraging students to think more logically and analytically, to better understand the flow of history and the connections between various events. Art and music studies are incorporated into each historical unit.

Additionally, we help you teach your middle school student to begin to identify and evaluate author's bias in his or her writing, helping your student be more aware of what he reads, views on television, and sees at the movies.

In language arts we review and examine the common rules of writing and grammar, preparing your student for high school level composition. Literature studies encourage more critical and analytical thinking than in years past.

"I'm still using Epi Kardia and LOVING it! I added one more student this year to the mix, A.! She and I do a more traditional Epi Kardia approach, whereas J. and G. know the drill and are on something like auto pilot with the program. Thank you for your dedication to writing such a fine curriculum.  My family have enjoyed it and been blessed by it time after time.  I still share it with everyone who will listen!"

--Jennifer

"E. is in 4th grade right now and C. is in 1st grade.  I love being able to use Epi Kardia with both of them!  (And we'll be adding L. in kindergarten next year.)  What a blessing this curriculum has been and continues to be for us!  Thanks Dana and Beth!"

--Julie

"I have 4 children and we are using all 4 levels of the program. Just another reason why I love this program! It is flexible enought for me to do just what want with it! :-) "

 --Pam

"The kids and I just finished playing a '20th Century Trivia' board game that A. made after I saw it in the [Preparatory Complete Program] Epi Kardia curriculum. What a great idea! He had to come up with the idea, use history & geography to come up with the categories and then the questions, make the board, paint the board and then make up the rules. It was a great 2-week project!"

"I am using the American Literature [high school] curriculum for a co-op starting in August and am very pleased with it so far.  I have laid out weekly lesson plans for the group so that they are reading along at the same pace and know which assignments will be due when.  It is so clearly laid out and easy to use.  I love the notes on grading/assessing the assignments and the rubrics you have provided.  I want to order a few more things real soon, so really appreciate the coupon!!
Thanks!"

--Erica

"I am grateful and appreciative. [You have provided] customer service of the highest degree - thanks so much, and thanks for the updates on future products. You are most kind."
