Epi Kardia Christian Literature-based Homeschool Curriculum Using Charlotte Mason Methods

Read through the Bible in One Year with our Homeschool Curricula!

read the Bible in a year with our literature-based homeschool curricula

Regardless of what component of Epi Kardia literature-based homeschool curricula you use, we recommend you begin your day with Scripture and prayer! To be an effective homeschool parent, it is crucial that you are in the Word daily - not only as a model to your children, but for your own spiritual growth. We absolutely need that daily filling and daily meeting with the Lord in order to continually grow in our spiritual walk. As my pastor says - "We are all leaky buckets!" Once a week on Sundays is just not enough!

For your convenience, we have included an online Bible reading program below in addition to the reading plans we include in our homeschool curricula. Clicking on each day takes you to an approximately 15 minute reading from the New American Standard Edition of the Bible.  This program also provides the option to listen to the reading selections, which may be especially useful if you or your students are auditory learners.

Additionally, in our homeschool curricula there are various Bible Reading/listening plans.  There is a two year Bible reading schedule in the Kindergarten  Program and a three year schedule in both of our teacher's manuals.

In our Daily Lesson Plans as well as in our High School courses, we utilize the Bible for teaching Creation and portions of ancient history, as well.

"I'm still using Epi Kardia and LOVING it! I added one more student this year to the mix, A.! She and I do a more traditional Epi Kardia approach, whereas J. and G. know the drill and are on something like auto pilot with the program. Thank you for your dedication to writing such a fine curriculum.  My family have enjoyed it and been blessed by it time after time.  I still share it with everyone who will listen!"

"E. is in 4th grade right now and C. is in 1st grade.  I love being able to use Epi Kardia with both of them!  (And we'll be adding L. in kindergarten next year.)  What a blessing this curriculum has been and continues to be for us!  Thanks Dana and Beth!"

"I have 4 children and we are using all 4 levels of the program. Just another reason why I love this program! It is flexible enought for me to do just what want with it! :-) "

"The kids and I just finished playing a '20th Century Trivia' board game that A. made after I saw it in the [Preparatory Complete Program] Epi Kardia curriculum. What a great idea! He had to come up with the idea, use history & geography to come up with the categories and then the questions, make the board, paint the board and then make up the rules. It was a great 2-week project!"

"I am using the American Literature [high school] curriculum for a co-op starting in August and am very pleased with it so far.  I have laid out weekly lesson plans for the group so that they are reading along at the same pace and know which assignments will be due when.  It is so clearly laid out and easy to use.  I love the notes on grading/assessing the assignments and the rubrics you have provided.  I want to order a few more things real soon, so really appreciate the coupon!!
Thanks!"
