Epi Kardia Homeschooling Curricula Parent/Teacher Manuals
Epi Kardia Teacher's Manuals are the backbone
of our homeschool curricula!
Whether you choose our Complete Programs or Daily Lesson
Plans as your homeschool curricula, the Teacher's Manuals will help you organize your time and materials, give you ideas to
keep your toddler busy, walk you through the process of planning a unit, and support you in teaching history,
science, language arts and fine arts, from Kindergarten through High School. (See the Table of Contents for
both our K-5th grade and our 6th-12th grade Teacher's Manuals at the bottom of this page to view exactly what
is covered.)
If you
purchase one of Epi Kardia's Complete Programs, a
teacher's manual is included in your purchase price. If you decide to use the Daily Lesson
Plans for your homeschool
students, we recommend you
purchase a manual separately, although our plans are so complete you do not have to have a manual to utilize them.
Both manuals
include detailed instructions for teaching and evaluating history, science, language arts (grammar, spelling,
literature study, composition and poetry), fine arts and more.
At the end of
each manual is a Tools section containing a Bible reading schedule,
English checklists, and various forms, charts and examples. (These are also included on
the Tools CD, which is also included
in the Epi Kardia
Complete
Programs.)
The 6th-12th grade manual also contains a special section about
how to teach high school writing, including everything from brainstorming to editing, as well as listing
various essay styles required.
(For more information about teaching high school writing, we recommend
our Essay Styles for High School
course - an essential composition class for all first year high school
students that introduces the five essay styles that high schoolers need to
master.)
Each spiral bound manual is over 100 pages,
printed on high quality white card stock with clear plastic front and back
covers.
See more detailed information by viewing the Table of Contents
topics for each manual below.
